A beautiful old siphon bottle in clear glass. At the beginning of the 20th century, the first glass siphon bottles came and they quickly became very popular and were found in every restaurant and bistro. The bottles had their heyday in the 1920s and 30s. The siphon bottle's function and justification was that it became significantly easier than before to make drinks with fizz in it. From having been reserved for the few, there suddenly became a large commercial market for drinks with fizz. And with the introduction of the siphon bottle, you were able to hold the shower so that the drinks did not immediately become "flat". The siphon bottles themselves were produced in Czechoslovakia. This was because there were very high demands on the thickness and quality of the glass, as they risked exploding due to the high pressure inside the bottle. The engravings and lead head on the bottle were made in France.
